Turn your oven on to 400°F to preheat.

Blend the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla together. Gradually stir in salt and flour until mixed. Toss in the nuts last.

Roll dough into smooth 1-inch balls using your hands.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until set—they shouldn't change color.

While they're warm, roll each cookie in powdered sugar after cooling on the tray for 1–2 minutes.
