Smores Ice Cream Roll (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 cup mini chocolate chips
02 - ½ teaspoon salt
03 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
06 - ½ cup brown sugar
07 - ½ cup softened unsalted butter
08 - 1 egg
09 - 1 cup all-purpose flour

→ Ice Cream Base

10 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - ¾ cup granulated sugar
12 - 1 cup whole milk
13 - 2 cups heavy cream

→ S'mores Elements

14 - ½ cup chocolate chunks or bars
15 - 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
16 - 1 cup mini marshmallows

# Instructions:

01 - Beat together the butter and sugars until creamy and fluffy—just a couple minutes will do. Throw in the vanilla and mix again. Slowly stir in the flour and toss in those chocolate chips to finish.
02 - Shape the dough into a ball, cover it with plastic, and let it chill out in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
03 - Combine the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Use your ice cream machine to churn it as instructed by the manufacturer.
04 - Once you've got your ice cream done, fold in the cooled cookie dough bits and break up graham crackers to mix in.
05 - On parchment paper, press the ice cream mixture into a rectangle about a half-inch thick. Sprinkle your marshmallows and chocolate chunks on top.
06 - Using the parchment, gently roll the mixture into a log shape. Wrap it up snugly and freeze it for at least 4 hours, or leave it in overnight.
