Crispy Tortellini Parmesan (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry Ingredients

01 - 1 egg (to brush over)
02 - 1 tablespoon water (to mix with egg)
03 - ½ cup Nutella spread
04 - 1 puff pastry sheet (thawed if it was frozen)

→ Optional Toppings

05 - Whipped cream
06 - Powdered sugar
07 - Fresh berries

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up your oven to 375°F (190°C). Put parchment paper on your baking tray.
02 - Roll out your pastry (it should be soft). Use a knife or heart-shaped cutter to make heart pieces.
03 - Transfer the pastry shapes to your tray. Pop them in the fridge for 10 minutes to keep their form.
04 - Put about a tablespoon of Nutella in the middle of half your hearts. Don’t go too close to the edges.
05 - Lay another heart-shaped piece on top of each Nutella-covered one. Seal edges with your fingers or press with a fork.
06 - Stir the egg and water together. Lightly coat pastries with this mixture for a golden look.
07 - Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until they’re puffy and golden. Let them cool down for a bit.
08 - Sprinkle powdered sugar on top if you’d like. Serve with some berries or whipped cream for extra flair.
