Minty Choco Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups powdered sugar
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
05 - Green food coloring (optional)
06 - 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
07 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
08 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
09 - 1 large egg
10 - 1 cup granulated white sugar
11 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
12 - 1 teaspoon mint extract
13 - 1/4 cup milk
14 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, mix together powdered sugar, milk, and mint extract until smooth. If you'd like, you can add a bit of green coloring. Once cookies are fully cooled, add frosting to each one and place them in the freezer to firm up.
02 - Beat the softened butter and sugar in a bowl until it's light and airy.
03 - Pour in the vanilla and crack in the egg. Keep beating until everything blends together.
04 - Gradually fold in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt to the wet mix. Combine until you have a uniform dough.
05 - Shape the dough into little balls and line them up on a parchment-covered baking sheet. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 8 to 10 minutes. Let them cool completely before touching.
06 - Melt the chocolate chips and stir in the vegetable oil using a microwave or double boiler. Spread the melted chocolate on the frosted cookies and let them set before enjoying.

# Notes:

01 - Use butter and eggs at room temperature for the softest cookies. Gently warm the chocolate topping if it's too firm to spread easily.
