In a bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, vinegar, and sesame seeds. Stir until smooth.

Dry off the cod with a paper towel. Spread 1 tablespoon of glaze on top and let it chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to a couple of hours.

Set your oven rack close to the top. Turn the broiler on low. Use parchment paper to cover your baking tray.

Broil the cod for 12-14 minutes on low, brushing with glaze between every few minutes. Switch the broiler to high for 4-5 minutes to get a darker color.

Move the fish to plates and top with green onions before serving.
