Healthy Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 3 large or 4 small bananas, very ripe (gives 1½-1¾ cups)
02 - ⅓ cup (75g) pure cane sugar, organic if preferred
03 - 1¾ cups (210g) spelt flour
04 - 1 teaspoon of baking soda
05 - 1 teaspoon of baking powder
06 - A small pinch of mineral salt
07 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
08 - ⅓ cup (75ml) neutral-tasting oil
09 - ¼ cup (56ml) almond milk, for extra moisture if needed

→ Optional Add-ins

10 - ½-⅔ cup of chopped walnuts
11 - 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, for a cozy touch
12 - ¼-½ cup of chocolate chips

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease your loaf pan to stop sticking.
02 - Smash the bananas in a medium-sized bowl. Pour in the oil and vanilla extract. Gently stir in the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. If it's too thick, add some almond milk to loosen it up.
03 - Pour the batter into your greased pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. It's ready when a toothpick poked in the middle comes out clean.
04 - Let it sit for about 10 minutes before cutting it up into slices.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap out the oil for applesauce.
02 - Replace the sugar with dates if you'd like.
03 - It works nicely with different flour options.
