King Ranch Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 corn tortillas, ripped into 1-inch strips
02 - 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
03 - 1 medium yellow onion, diced
04 - 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
05 - 1 (10-oz.) can diced tomatoes and green chilies (like Rotel)
06 - 1 (10.5-oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
07 - 1 (10.5-oz.) can cream of chicken soup
08 - 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
09 - 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
10 - 1 tsp. chili powder
11 - 2 pinches ground black pepper
12 - 2 pinches garlic powder
13 - 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken

# Instructions:

01 - Over medium-high heat, cook onion and green pepper in a large skillet for 5 minutes or until soft. Mix in chicken and 7 other ingredients, then take off the heat.
02 - Grease a 13 x 9-inch dish and layer a third of the tortilla pieces at the bottom. Add one-third of the chicken mixture and 2/3 cup cheese on top. Do the same thing two more times.
03 - Pop it in a 350°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes to bake.
