01 -
Turn on your oven and set it to 350°F. Lightly spray a loaf pan (8 ½ x 4 ½-inch) with nonstick spray.
02 -
Grab a big bowl and stir together baking powder, salt, flour, and sugar.
03 -
In another bowl, combine the melted butter, egg, vanilla, and milk. Whisk it all together until it looks smooth.
04 -
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry mix and gently stir just until no dry spots remain. Don’t mix too much—it’s okay if it’s a little loose.
05 -
Transfer the batter into the pan you prepped, and make sure it sits evenly.
06 -
Let it bake for about 60-70 minutes. Give it the toothpick test—poke the center, and it should come out with a few moist crumbs. The top should also have a golden-brown color.
07 -
Take the bread out of the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes in the pan. Then carefully move it to a sheet of parchment paper to finish cooling.
08 -
While it’s still warm, use a pastry brush to spread melted butter over the whole bread.
09 -
Mix cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in a little bowl. Sprinkle it all over the butter-covered bread, making sure to turn the loaf so you coat every side.
