Slow Cooker Glazed Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds baby carrots.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
04 - 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed.
05 - 1/4 cup real maple syrup.
06 - 1/3 cup butter, cubed.

# Instructions:

01 - Spread baby carrots evenly in 6-quart slow cooker.
02 - Sprinkle salt, cinnamon and brown sugar over carrots, stir to coat.
03 - Pour maple syrup over carrots and toss until evenly coated.
04 - Spread butter cubes evenly over the carrots.
05 - Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6 hours, stirring once or twice.
06 - For thicker glaze, remove lid and cook 30 minutes more, or reduce sauce in separate pan.
07 - Stir to coat carrots in glaze, taste and adjust seasoning, serve hot.

01 - Great make-ahead holiday side dish.
02 - Glaze will thicken as it cools slightly.
03 - Can cook on high or low depending on timing needs.
