Sausage Peppers Hoagies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - ½ yellow onion, sliced about ¾-inch thick
02 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced in ¾-inch strips
03 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced in ¾-inch strips
04 - 5 hoagie rolls, lightly toasted
05 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
06 - 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
07 - 1 (20-ounce) pack of mild Italian pork sausages, includes 5 links

→ Honey Mustard Sauce

08 - 1 tablespoon honey
09 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
10 - ⅓ cup mayonnaise
11 - 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F and position the rack in the middle.
02 - On a big sheet pan with edges, toss the onion and peppers. Coat them with olive oil and sprinkle some salt.
03 - Tuck the sausage links between the veggies on the pan. Roast for about 30 minutes, until sausages are hot (or fully cooked if they’re raw).
04 - Mix the mayo, mustard, honey, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
05 - Put a sausage in each hoagie roll, pile on the roasted veggies, and pour some of that honey mustard sauce on top. Serve while it’s warm.
