01 -
Preheat oven to 350°F.
02 -
Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Form the ground sausage into 12 patties, slightly larger than one dinner roll. Add sausage to skillet and cook until completely cooked through.
03 -
Using a serrated knife, cut rolls in half lengthwise without breaking them apart. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 7x10-inch or 9x13-inch baking dish, and set the tops aside.
04 -
Scoop scrambled eggs onto the bottom rolls and top with pepper jack cheese. Place sausage patties on top of the pepper jack and top with American cheese. Carefully place the reserved top buns over the fillings.
05 -
Combine melted butter and maple syrup in a small bowl. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls, allowing the sauce to drip down the sides and into the bottom. Use the entire amount.
06 -
Bake the sliders for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melted. Serve immediately and enjoy!
07 -
For tailgating, use a disposable foil pan or wrap sliders individually in foil to keep warm.
08 -
Sliders can be prepared a day ahead and baked just before serving.
