Sausage Bredie Soesys Kos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 kg lamb or beef sausage, cut into pieces
02 - 4 tablespoons oil
03 - 3 onions, peeled and finely chopped
04 - 6-8 potatoes, peeled and quartered
05 - Salt to taste
06 - Black pepper to taste
07 - 3 whole chillies
08 - 1 clove garlic, peeled and finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, on medium to high heat, heat the oil and add the onions, browning them well.
02 - Add the chillies, garlic, and half a cup of water to the pot. Cook the onions for 10 minutes.
03 - Add the sausage, salt, pepper, and potatoes. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
04 - Add a cup of water and continue cooking until the potatoes are soft.
05 - Serve hot with white rice and atchar for added flavor.
