Melt chocolate by mixing it with hot cream. Keep stirring until silky. Let it set in the fridge for at least two hours until it firms up.

Heat your oven to 350°F and get your cupcake pan ready by adding liners.

Follow the cake mix instructions to whip up the batter. Only pour it halfway into each cupcake liner.

Take a chilled scoop of ganache (about 1 tablespoon) and drop it right in the center of every cupcake.

Pop them in the oven for 20-23 minutes. Pull them out when a toothpick near the side comes out clean. Let them cool a little in the tray.

Peel off the liners, flip the cupcakes upside down, and sprinkle on powdered sugar. They're best when warm.
