Set oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9-inch loaf pan with baking spray.

In a medium-sized bowl, mash together the butter and sugar until creamy.

Break in the eggs, stir in the vanilla, and pour in the milk. Mix it all well.

Blend in the salt, flour, and baking powder until you can’t see any dry spots.

Carefully stir in the blueberries so they don’t break apart.

Put the batter in your pan, then sprinkle coarse sugar across the surface.

Bake for around 65-75 minutes for a big loaf, or 30-40 minutes if you’re making small ones.
