Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Save 2 cups pasta water before draining.

Brown ground beef with minced garlic over medium heat. Drain extra grease if needed.

Mix in ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, pepper flakes, hoisin sauce, and black pepper with the beef.

Blend cornstarch and cold water, stir into meat mixture. Simmer until sauce thickens.

Add 1 cup pasta water and cooked noodles. Stir well, adding more water if needed.

Top with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
