Meatloaf with Stuffing (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup of ketchup, split into two portions
02 - 1 box of flavored Stove Top Stuffing
03 - 1 pound of ground beef (best with higher fat)
04 - 2 eggs, large
05 - 1/2 cup water

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F to get it ready.
02 - In a big bowl, combine the ground beef, stuffing mix (don't cook it), eggs, half of the ketchup, and water.
03 - Scoop the meat into a greased bread pan. No bread pan? Make a loaf shape on a foil-lined baking sheet instead. Curl the edges of the foil to catch any drips and make clean-up simple.
04 - Spread the rest of the ketchup on top. You can swap in barbecue or chili sauce if you'd prefer.
05 - Leave it to bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until a thermometer reads 160°F in the middle.
06 - Once cooked, let the meatloaf sit for 5 minutes before cutting into slices. Pair with mashed potatoes or your favorite sides!

# Notes:

01 - Using ground beef with more fat makes a juicier loaf since the stuffing soaks up the juices.
02 - For lean beef, add some milk, a splash of water, or another egg to avoid dryness.
03 - Feel free to mix in diced onions, minced garlic, shredded cheese, spices, or fresh herbs for extra flavor.
