# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
04 - In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend into the butter mixture.
05 - Gently fold in the chopped maraschino cherries and semisweet chocolate chips.
06 - Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
