Tangy Lemon Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
02 - 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
03 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 tablespoon lemon zest
05 - Powdered sugar for sprinkling (optional)
06 - 1 cup milk
07 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1 cup granulated sugar
09 - 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C) so it's hot and ready when you need it.
02 - Take a medium bowl and sift in the flour, salt, and baking powder. In a different bowl, stir the sugar, melted butter, and lemon zest together until smooth. Pour in the milk and lemon juice, mixing them well. Slowly combine both mixtures until it’s nice and smooth without lumps.
03 - Grease your 9×9 dish lightly and pour in the batter evenly. Pop it in the oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. You'll know it's done when the top is golden brown and the middle has a soft, lemony filling.
04 - Once it's out of the oven, let it cool a little. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top or add some whipped cream for an extra treat.

# Notes:

01 - Grab the juiciest lemons you can find to make the flavors pop. Start checking the cobbler around the 25-minute mark since ovens can vary.
