Hot Honey Feta Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Coating

01 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
02 - 2 large eggs
03 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika
05 - Salt and pepper, to your liking
06 - 1 teaspoon each of onion powder and garlic powder
07 - 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts (approximately 1.5 pounds)

→ Hot Honey Sauce

08 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
09 - 1/2 cup honey
10 - 1-2 tablespoons of your favorite hot sauce (adjust heat as needed)

→ Serving and Garnishes

11 - Fresh parsley, finely chopped for topping
12 - 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

# Instructions:

01 - Fire up your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange three shallow dishes: one filled with seasoned flour (mix in paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper), the second with beaten eggs, and the third with breadcrumbs.
02 - Coat each chicken piece in the seasoned flour, shaking off the extra bits. Dip it into the egg wash, then press it firmly into the breadcrumbs to fully cover. Lay each coated piece on a parchment-lined baking sheet or baking rack.
03 - Pop the chicken into the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Flip them over halfway through, making sure they’re golden and fully cooked. Use a meat thermometer to confirm the center reaches 165°F (75°C).
04 - In a small pot, combine the honey, your chosen amount of hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Warm it over medium heat, stirring until everything mixes together. Taste and adjust the spiciness.
05 - Drizzle the hot honey mix all over the cooked chicken. Crumble feta cheese on top and let it start to melt slightly.
06 - Sprinkle with fresh parsley, dig in right away, and serve alongside rice, veggies, or a green salad!

# Notes:

01 - Want it spicier? Just use more hot sauce in the honey mixture.
02 - To make it extra crispy, heat up the baking tray before placing the chicken on it.
