Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.

Brush the honey pineapple glaze over the salmon fillets, reserving some for basting.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, basting with the remaining glaze halfway through cooking.

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with sliced pineapple and chopped fresh cilantro if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
