Hobo Casserole with Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - Salt and pepper to taste
03 - 1 small yellow onion, diced
04 - 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced
05 - 8 oz cheddar cheese, grated
06 - 1 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
07 - 1 10 oz can cream of potato soup
08 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - ¼ cup milk
10 - 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
11 - ⅓ cup crispy French fried onions

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
02 - Add the ground beef to a 10" cast iron skillet or a small casserole dish, and press down.
03 - Season the beef with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with diced onions.
04 - Lay the sliced potatoes over the top in an even layer.
05 - Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top of the potatoes.
06 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of potato soup, Worcestershire sauce, milk, and Creole seasoning. Mix well with a whisk.
07 - Pour the soup mixture over the cheese and carefully spread evenly.
08 - Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 1-½ hours.
09 - Remove the dish from the oven, take off the foil, and sprinkle the fried onions on top.
10 - Place the dish under a broiler for a few minutes to brown the topping.
