# Ingredients:

→ Patties

01 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
02 - Salt and pepper as needed
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef

→ Gravy and Layers

05 - 4 or 5 medium russet potatoes, sliced thin
06 - 1 medium onion, thin slices
07 - 1 cup shredded cheddar
08 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
09 - 2 cups milk (save 1 cup aside)

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven going at 375°F and grease up a 9x13 pan.
02 - Combine the beef, onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoning. Shape into six patties.
03 - Sear the patties on both sides in a pan. Don't fully cook them. Put them aside.
04 - Using the same skillet, stir 1 cup of milk into flour till smooth. Add the rest of the milk slowly, stirring often to make a gravy. Sprinkle salt and pepper in.
05 - Place half the potato slices down in the pan, followed by half the onion slices. Lay out the patties, then layer the rest of the potatoes and onions on top.
06 - Pour the gravy all over the layers. Cover the dish with foil. Bake for an hour. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake uncovered for 15 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure potato slices are super thin so they cook evenly.
02 - Toss in mushrooms if you’re feeling fancy.
