Grandma's Banana Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1½ teaspoons baking soda.
03 - Pinch of salt.
04 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
05 - ½ cup vegetable oil.
06 - 2 eggs.
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
08 - 4 medium ripe bananas, mashed (about 1⅓ cups or 303 grams).
09 - 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease two 8x4-inch loaf pans and set aside.
02 - In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
03 - In large bowl, whisk sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
04 - Add mashed bananas to wet mixture and stir until mixed in.
05 - Fold dry mixture into wet ingredients until blended. Fold in chopped walnuts.
06 - Divide batter between pans. Bake 35-45 minutes until knife comes out clean. Cover with foil if browning too fast.
07 - Cool in pans 10 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Can use one 9-inch pan (bake 55 min).
02 - Use very ripe bananas for best results.
03 - Can swap nuts or leave them out.
04 - Try adding cinnamon or other mix-ins.
