Gordon Ramsay's Steak Marinade (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 oz steak
02 - 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
03 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
04 - 3 tbsp olive oil
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 2 sprigs rosemary, finely chopped
07 - 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
08 - 1/2 tsp kosher salt
09 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
10 - 1/3 tsp red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Finely chop the garlic and rosemary.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, and olive oil. Add minced garlic, chopped rosemary, kosher salt, ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly.
03 - Place the steak in a zip-lock bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, pat dry, and cook to your preferred doneness.
