Overnight Funfetti Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cinnamon Layer

01 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
02 - ½ cup white sugar

→ Dough

03 - 3 tablespoons white sugar
04 - ¾ teaspoon table salt
05 - 8 tablespoons softened unsalted butter, keep some separate for spreading
06 - ½ cup milk
07 - 1 egg, large
08 - 2¼ cups plain flour
09 - 3½ teaspoons fast-acting dry yeast
10 - ⅔ cup colorful sprinkles, save some for scattering on top

→ Sweet Glaze

11 - 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
12 - ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
13 - 1 cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Stir cinnamon and sugar together in a small dish. Keep nearby.
02 - Blend butter, sugar, and salt until smooth. Add egg, milk, yeast, and flour in order. Stir until silky, then gently mix in sprinkles. Let dough rest in a warm area for an hour and a half.
03 - Flatten dough into a rectangle (about 9x12”). Spread over some butter, cover with cinnamon sugar mix, then sprinkle remaining sprinkles. Roll it up snugly and slice into 8 pieces.
04 - Place rolls in a greased skillet. Cover tightly and store in fridge overnight. The next day, let them puff up in a cozy spot for 90 minutes.
05 - Bake at 325°F for around 32-34 minutes or until golden brown. Cool them off for 15 minutes before drizzling on the glaze made of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Toss more sprinkles on top.

# Notes:

01 - Works for both same-day or overnight prep
02 - Needs an 8-inch cast-iron pan
03 - Tastes best fresh and warm
