Frozen Holiday Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups orange juice.
02 - 4 liters cherry lemon-lime soda, like Cherry 7-Up™.
03 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar.
04 - 4 cups water.
05 - Fresh cranberries, to decorate.
06 - Orange slices, for decoration.
07 - 2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate.
08 - 5 cups cranberry juice.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat water and sugar in a big pot on high. Cook for around 3 to 5 minutes, stirring now and then, until the sugar completely melts.
02 - Take the pot off the stove. Mix in the cranberry juice, orange juice, and the lemonade concentrate. Keep stirring until the concentrate is fully blended. You’ll get about 4 quarts of this mix.
03 - Let the combined mix cool all the way. Once it’s not warm, transfer it to a large container that’s safe for freezing and has a lid. Keep it in the freezer overnight until it firms up.
04 - Use a fork to scrape and loosen the slushy frozen mixture. Put around 1 cup of this slush into a lowball glass. Pour cherry soda on top. Add fresh cranberries and orange slices for an extra touch before enjoying.

# Notes:

01 - Yields roughly 4 quarts of base mixture.
02 - Needs to be frozen overnight.
03 - Can be prepped days ahead of time.
