Easy Caramel Topping (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 tablespoons butter.
02 - 1/4 cup water.
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
04 - 1 cup sugar.
05 - 3/4 cup heavy cream.

# Instructions:

01 - In a tiny pot, mix sugar with water on medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Swirl the pan around while cooking until it becomes a golden amber color.
02 - Pour in the heavy cream while whisking. Don’t worry if it bubbles up a lot—it’s normal! Keep mixing until everything blends nicely.
03 - Stir in vanilla extract and butter one at a time. Use it however you like!

# Notes:

01 - Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of sea salt at the end if you want a salty-sweet kick.
