Crunchy Chickpeas Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
03 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
05 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
06 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
07 - ½ teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Set the temperature to 400°F (200°C). Place parchment paper on a baking tray.
02 - Lay chickpeas on a paper towel and dry them the best you can. The less moisture, the crunchier they'll be!
03 - Put the chickpeas in a bowl. Mix them up with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne if you'd like a kick.
04 - Pour the chickpeas onto the tray in one even layer. Bake for 25–30 minutes, shaking the tray about halfway through. They'll come out golden and crunchy.
05 - Let them sit for 5 minutes after removing from the oven. This helps them crisp up even more as they cool.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 4 days. To make them crispy again, pop them back into the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes.
