Crispy Hot Chicken Honey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Wings

01 - 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
02 - ½ tablespoon Potato Starch (or Corn Starch)
03 - 1.5 lbs Chicken Wings (about 12 pieces)
04 - ½ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
06 - ½ tablespoon Baking Powder (Aluminum-Free)
07 - 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
08 - 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

→ Hot Honey Sauce

09 - ⅛ teaspoon Salt (only if needed)
10 - 4 tablespoons Hot Sauce
11 - 2 tablespoons Honey
12 - 2 tablespoons Butter

# Instructions:

01 - Dry wings completely using paper towels. Slice into smaller pieces like drums and flats if they aren't already cut.
02 - Combine all the dry seasonings and starch in a bowl. Coat the wings evenly with the mixture.
03 - Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook for 20 minutes, flipping them over halfway through. If necessary, cook in smaller portions to let the wings crisp up.
04 - On medium-low heat, melt the butter in a pan. Stir in the hot sauce and honey, letting it simmer for around 2 minutes until it thickens.
05 - Coat the fried wings completely in the warm honey butter sauce before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Air fryer, oven, or deep fryer can all be used for cooking.
02 - To get the crispiest wings, make sure they're dried well before seasoning.
03 - Always choose aluminum-free baking powder—don't confuse it with soda.
