Crispy Garlic Cabbage (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
02 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
03 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
04 - ½ teaspoon dried thyme
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 3 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
07 - Optional: parsley, Parmesan cheese, or a pinch of red pepper flakes
08 - 1 teaspoon salt (taste and adjust as needed)
09 - 1 fresh green or red cabbage, large size

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400°F (200°C). Use parchment paper or grease a big baking sheet so the food won’t stick.
02 - Pull off any outer leaves that look damaged. Cut the cabbage into thick slices, about ¾-inch. Leave the core in to keep everything together.
03 - Mix the garlic powder, thyme, olive oil, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Brush this over both sides of the cabbage slices.
04 - Spread the cabbage pieces on the pan in one layer. Cook in the oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping them over halfway. They’re done when the edges turn golden and crispy.
05 - Let the cooked cabbage rest for a minute or two. Top with anything you like—grated Parmesan, parsley, or a bit of red pepper flakes.
06 - Heat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes. Slice and season the cabbage just like before. Put slices in the air fryer basket in single layers. Cook for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. Work in batches if needed.

# Notes:

01 - Pick cabbage that feels firm, with tight leaves for better results when cutting.
02 - Spread out the cabbage on the pan so there’s space between slices. It helps them crisp up better.
03 - Switch things up by using Cajun seasoning or even some curry powder for a new taste.
