Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - 12 ounces Brussels sprouts.
04 - Pinch of red pepper flakes (if you'd like).
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut each sprout in half from top to bottom. Take off any damaged outer leaves, and trim the ends a little.
02 - Put the halved sprouts in a bowl, pour hot water over them, and let sit for 15 minutes.
03 - Get your air fryer ready by setting it at 375°F.
04 - Once drained thoroughly, mix the sprouts with olive oil, a bit of salt, black pepper, and the optional red pepper flakes.
05 - Spread the sprouts out in your air fryer basket. Cook at 375°F for 12 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through cooking to move them around.
06 - Once crispy and hot, move them to a serving dish and dig in right away.

# Notes:

01 - Soaking tones down bitterness and ensures the sprouts cook nicely.
02 - If using a smaller air fryer, cook in parts or give it a bit more time while shaking often.
