Creamy Garlic Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base for the Sauce

01 - Grated Parmesan cheese
02 - Minced fresh garlic cloves
03 - Salted or unsalted butter
04 - Heavy cream or milk (to make it richer)
05 - Plain all-purpose flour
06 - Optional parsley for topping
07 - Cracked black pepper
08 - Pinch of salt

# Instructions:

01 - Drop the butter into a medium-sized pan and let it melt slowly on medium heat.
02 - Toss the minced garlic into the pan and stir it around for a minute or two, just until it smells good. Take care not to let it burn.
03 - Sprinkle the flour over the butter and garlic, then whisk constantly for about a minute so it blends into a paste.
04 - Add the milk gradually, whisking as you go to keep it smooth without lumps. Let it bubble gently and stir until it thickens, which should take 3 to 5 minutes.
05 - Add the Parmesan cheese and mix until everything comes together into a creamy sauce.
06 - Throw in some salt and pepper, tasting as you go. Use this as a topping for pizza, a dipping sauce, or whatever you'd like. Sprinkle parsley if you'd like a fresh touch.

# Notes:

01 - Whether for dipping, a base layer for pizza, or drizzling on top, you can adjust the thickness by mixing in extra milk to get the consistency you want.
