Apple Cranberry Crumble (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 big apples, peeled, seeds removed, and diced into 1/2-inch chunks.
02 - 12 ounces of cranberries, fresh or straight from the freezer.
03 - 1/2 cup white sugar.
04 - 3 tablespoons plain flour.
05 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
06 - 1 tablespoon orange juice.
07 - 1/4 cup regular flour.
08 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar.
09 - 3 tablespoons white sugar.
10 - 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped.
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
12 - 2 tablespoons butter, chilled and diced.
13 - Optional: Vanilla ice cream for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F and let it warm up. Grease a 9x13 dish lightly with cooking spray.
02 - Toss together the apple chunks, cranberries, orange juice, vanilla, sugar, and flour in a big bowl. Once mixed, scoop it all into your greased dish and hold tight.
03 - Use the same bowl to mix the flour, pecans, cinnamon, white sugar, and brown sugar. Work in the cold butter chunks with your hands until it feels crumbly, then spread it over the fruit mix evenly.
04 - Let it bake until the fruit softens, the topping crisps up, and you see bubbling juices at the edges. This should take around 45 minutes. If it looks like your topping's browning too fast, lay some foil on top for the last 15 minutes.
05 - Let everything cool down for about 10 minutes. Scoop some ice cream on top if you'd like, then dig in!

# Notes:

01 - Cranberries can be used fresh or frozen.
02 - If the topping's cooking too quickly, cover it loosely with foil.
03 - Allow it to cool slightly before serving for best results.
