Chicken Parmesan Breaded Baked (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken breast fillets
02 - 1 cup regular flour
03 - 2 beaten eggs
04 - 1 cup breadcrumbs
05 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 tsp dried basil leaves
07 - 1 tsp dried oregano
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
09 - Salt and pepper as required
10 - 1/2 cup olive oil
11 - 1 cup tomato-based marinara sauce
12 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - Use a meat mallet to even out the thickness of the chicken breasts.
03 - Prepare a breading station by placing three shallow dishes side by side. Fill the first dish with flour, the second with beaten eggs, and the third with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
04 - Coat each chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
05 - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the breaded chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
06 - Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and top each one with some marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
08 - Serve the chicken Parmesan with more marinara sauce on the side.
