Warm olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Put in chicken, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and seasoning. Let it brown about 5 minutes without moving it.

Turn the chicken over and cook another 5 minutes or so, ensuring it’s fully cooked.

Using a slotted spatula, take the chicken out and let it rest on a plate.

Pour broth or wine carefully into the pan. Let it foam up and steam for a few moments.

Mix in butter, stirring until completely melted, which takes about a minute. Toss in garlic and mix until you can smell it, about 60 seconds more.

Turn the burner off. Place chicken back in the pan to coat in the sauce. Spoon sauce over the top and sprinkle parsley before serving, if you'd like.
