Garlic Butter Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 tablespoon garlic, minced finely
02 - 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped (if you'd like)
03 - ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
04 - 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
05 - 1 teaspoon each of black pepper and kosher salt (adjust to your liking)
06 - 1-2 teaspoons poultry seasoning or 21 Salute seasoning
07 - 1½ pounds boneless chicken breasts, flattened for even cooking
08 - 3 tablespoons olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Warm olive oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Put in chicken, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and seasoning. Let it brown about 5 minutes without moving it.
02 - Turn the chicken over and cook another 5 minutes or so, ensuring it’s fully cooked.
03 - Using a slotted spatula, take the chicken out and let it rest on a plate.
04 - Pour broth or wine carefully into the pan. Let it foam up and steam for a few moments.
05 - Mix in butter, stirring until completely melted, which takes about a minute. Toss in garlic and mix until you can smell it, about 60 seconds more.
06 - Turn the burner off. Place chicken back in the pan to coat in the sauce. Spoon sauce over the top and sprinkle parsley before serving, if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - White wine gives a richer taste than broth
02 - Stays fresh in the fridge up to 5 days
03 - Can be frozen for 4 months
