Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole (Print Version)

01 - 4 cups shredded chicken
02 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
03 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 1 cup milk
05 - 1/2 cup ranch dressing
06 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 32 ounces frozen tater tots
08 - 1/2 cup bacon crumbles
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F.
02 - Add the shredded chicken in a layer in the bottom of a well-greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
03 - Place the butter and flour in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until combined and the butter is melted.
04 - Slowly whisk the milk into the saucepan mixture until well combined. Saute until the mixture thickens.
05 - Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the ranch dressing along with salt and pepper to taste.
06 - Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken in the baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the sauce.
07 - Layer the tater tots on top of the chicken mixture.
08 - Bake the casserole for 20 minutes.
09 - Remove the casserole from the oven, layer it with the bacon crumbles and the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
10 - Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the tater tots are cooked completely and crispy.
