Cheesy Garlic Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup warm water (110-115°F).
02 - 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast.
03 - 1 tablespoon sugar.
04 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
05 - 1 teaspoon salt.
06 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
07 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded.
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano.
10 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted.
11 - Marinara sauce for dipping.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine warm water, yeast and sugar in mixing bowl and let stand 5 minutes until mixture becomes frothy.
02 - Add flour, salt and olive oil to yeast mixture, stirring until cohesive dough forms.
03 - Transfer dough to floured surface and knead thoroughly for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
04 - Place kneaded dough in greased bowl and cover with clean cloth for 30-minute rise in warm spot.
05 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll dough into rectangle approximately 1/2 inch thick. Distribute mozzarella evenly, pressing with rolling pin.
06 - Cut dough into strips using pizza cutter. Arrange on parchment-lined baking sheet. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and oregano, brush over breadsticks.
07 - Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and cheese bubbles.
