Cheesy Baked Asparagus Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 lb asparagus

→ Seasoning

02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - Salt and pepper, to taste
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced

→ Cheese

05 - 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded

→ Meat

06 - 5 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
02 - Trim the ends of the asparagus stalks. Place the asparagus in a medium-sized casserole dish, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Top with minced garlic.
03 - Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven.
04 - Sprinkle half of the shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over the asparagus. Add the chopped cooked bacon on top, then finish with the remaining half of the shredded cheese.
05 - Bake for an additional 10 minutes, uncovered, at 200°C (400°F). Serve immediately while the cheese is warm and melted.
