Quick Beef Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/3 cup soy sauce.
02 - 1 lb of ground beef.
03 - 5 minced garlic cloves.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
05 - 10 oz of linguine noodles.
06 - 3 tablespoons of hoisin sauce.
07 - 1/4 cup of beef stock.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
09 - Red pepper flakes (optional amount for heat).
10 - 1/3 cup light brown sugar.
11 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
12 - 2 tablespoons water.
13 - 4 thinly sliced green onions.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil noodles as directed, drain them well, and leave aside.
02 - Cook the ground beef in a big skillet over medium heat till browned, then drain extra fat.
03 - Add garlic to skillet, cooking for 1 minute. Mix in hoisin, soy sauce, ginger, pepper, broth, sugar, and red pepper if using.
04 - Combine water with cornstarch, stir into skillet. Cook for around 2-3 minutes to thicken.
05 - Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, coating everything in the sauce.
06 - Sprinkle green onions on top and serve it while still warm.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to add veggies like broccoli or bell peppers.
02 - Swap soy sauce and regular noodles for tamari and gluten-free pasta if needed.
03 - Tastes best when eaten immediately.
