Warm some olive oil in a big pot over medium heat. Toss in the diced onion and ground beef, cooking them together until the onion softens and beef browns. Drain any extra greasiness.

Mix in the pasta, ranch mix, milk, and beef broth. Let it come to a boil, then turn down to a low heat. Cover and simmer for around 10-12 mins, stirring every now and then, until your pasta is soft.

Take the pot off the stove and blend in the cheddar until it’s nicely melted and smooth.

Sprinkle with pepper and salt however you like. Serve it warm.
