Set oven to 350°F. Coat a 9x5 pan with grease.

Take bananas and smash them in a big bowl using a fork or masher until smooth.

Whisk butter into mashed bananas. Stir in sugar, eggs, and then vanilla.

Stir in cinnamon, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt till mixed.

Pour mixture evenly into the greased loaf pan. Pop it in the oven for about an hour, checking with a toothpick.

Leave loaf in the pan for 5–10 minutes before putting it on a rack to cool fully.
