01 -
Cut the flank beef steak into medium/thin strips, then marinate with coconut aminos, baking soda, and arrowroot flour. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
02 -
In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the stir fry sauce and set aside.
03 -
Heat 2 – 3 tablespoons of neutral oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 20 – 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
04 -
Add broccoli and carrots to the skillet and stir continuously, sautéing for 3 – 4 minutes until slightly tender. Add bell pepper slices (optional) and cook for an additional minute.
05 -
Push the vegetables to the side and add 1 – 2 tablespoons of oil to the center of the skillet. Place the beef slices in and sear both sides until golden brown and cooked to your preferred doneness.
06 -
Lower the heat and gently stir in the prepared sauce until it becomes sticky and thoroughly coats the beef and vegetables.
07 -
Serve the stir fry over a bed of rice and garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
