01 -
Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C) and grab everything you'll need for this.
02 -
Use a bowl to beat together the cream cheese, brown sugar, and softened butter until smooth and fluffy.
03 -
Stir in the egg, both extracts, and salt, making sure it’s all blended nicely.
04 -
Add the flour bit by bit, working it into a smooth dough.
05 -
Wrap the dough in cling film and stick it in the fridge for at least half an hour.
06 -
Form small 1-inch dough balls and spread them out on baking sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between each. Press your thumb gently into the top of each one to make a little dip.
07 -
Place one dry maraschino cherry into the hollow space of every cookie.
08 -
Pop the cookies into the oven for about 12 minutes. You’re looking for the edges to just start browning. Place them on a wire rack to cool fully.
09 -
In the microwave, heat the white chocolate chips in short bursts, stirring after each one until the chocolate becomes smooth. Scoop into a small piping bag or a cut plastic bag.
10 -
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled cookies and let it harden before you dig in.
