Air Fryer Chickpeas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
02 - 1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese.
03 - 1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
07 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest.
08 - 1 (15-ounce) can of chickpeas, drained and washed.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
11 - 1 teaspoon za'atar mix.
12 - 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme.
13 - 1 teaspoon herbes de Provence mix.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up the air fryer to 390°F and let it run for about 10 minutes.
02 - Dry the chickpeas completely after rinsing and discard any of their loose skins.
03 - Toss chickpeas with your chosen oil and seasoning blend until well coated.
04 - Fry for 8-10 minutes until crisp, adding a couple of minutes if necessary.
05 - Sample and tweak seasoning as needed, serve fresh and crispy.

03 - It’s normal for some chickpeas to pop as they cook.
